Christian's Repent...

As Bryan Carver once said, "birds fly, fish swim, Christian's repent..." We, as Christians, are called to repent at all times. Why? Because, as sinners, we must repent of sin and constantly run to Jesus Christ and the cross. Why is that? Because Luke 13:3 says, "No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

We should always be willing to repent of our sins. Now that we have experienced Christ and know of the goodness of His love and kindness, we have no reason not to repent. In fact, we have every reason to repent. We have seen the goodness that is Jesus Christ, and to refuse to repent is to refuse to be on the side of God.

To repent means to change mindsets, to change allegiance  It is like rooting for one sport's team, realizing that you do not like them and that another sport's team is better, and then switching sides. For Christianity; it is realizing that we are sinners and how great God is, and turning away from sin to be on God's side.

There is nothing about us that should be telling us not to repent. We are not too big to repent. In fact, the more we grow in Christ, the more we will realize how often we need to repent. So, "birds fly, fish swim, Christian's repent..."
