Love And Logic

Romans 1:20 says, "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." We can see God exists, believer or not, by the evidence that He has placed all over the world. The one that I want to focus on is the one spoken in 1 John 4:8, where it says that God is love. This may seem trivial, but it is proof of God.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says that, "Love is patient , love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor other, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." These are attributes that directly contradict evolution or any universe where God doesn't exist.

If no one caused us to love, we would have no reason to be patient or kind to others. In fact, we would be like animals. We would have no reason to love, because love causes sacrifice and sacrifice goes against self-preservation. That alone shows us that it should not be natural to love! In nature, self-preservation is first;  we do we have a natural urge to love?

Love could not have been beaten into our heads, because survival of the fittest would have wiped out anything that tried to love so deeply, much love force others to love that would not understand the concept. The fact that love, true love, exists, thrives, and is treated as natural as a need for food is proof that God put it into us as proof of His existence.

Because love exists, we know that God is the one who made it exist in humans alone. Because we were made in the image of God, and God is love, we have the ability to love like God. This is proof of His existence that anyone can see, believer or not.
