Stars
Please, try to count how many stars there are in the universe. You can't? Why not? There are too many? Well count faster. There are too many to count and too many to see? Well, count harder. We've been counting for years and we still don't know the end of the stars? There are too many stars for us to even see? You can point to a black patch no bigger than a grain of sand at arms length in space and pull up over ten thousand galaxies? Well... I guess that is a lot of stars... But we should be able to count them. What do you mean there are too many?
Well, God made every star in the sky. He made them Himself, so He knows them all and knows how many there are. We should be able to do the same thing. We can't? We don't have that kind of technology or time yet? But, we are made in God's image so we should be able to do it. We are even naming stars! We've got this. We can be as great as God. There is a reason that He loves us, after all. We are great!
What do you mean space is too vast? What do you mean there are too many stars? What do you mean no one man can count all of the stars? Well, if no one man can count all of the stars, then how does God know them all by name?
I guess He's just much greater than us.
"He determines the number of stars; He gives to all of them their names." Psalm 147:4
"When I look at Your Heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set in place, what is man that You are mindful of him?" Psalm 8:3-4
